I just want to be more awake and alive. More whole. More real. More authentic. More myself. I know there has to be an unshakeable alliance between my inner voices and my inner healer. This will only happen through the process of devoting myself to the practice of entering into intimate communion with the inner world. And then willingly opening myself to everything that I find there. Not only what I want to see and feel, but embracing those objects and experiences that stretch me outside of what is easy, mundane and familiar. I have come to understand that this journey of self-discovery starts with self-acceptance and this journey, in my case, will be documented through my work.

The Vices Series is an exploration of the limitless self—those hidden corners of our being that exist beyond labels, roles, and expectations. It is where desire, fear, memory, and truth collide. To step into this space is to confront the unknown within. Honesty becomes the only way to navigate it—the courage to strip away disguise and reveal what is raw, fractured, and real. Through this process, self-discovery becomes more than a search for answers; it becomes a living journey of transformation—a fragile yet necessary bridge between who we are, who we have been, and who we are becoming.

Vices II extends this journey of self-discovery into a more conscious and expansive realm. Where the first series confronted the raw and hidden self, this chapter embraces colour as emotion, energy, and contradiction. Practiced across cloth, board, canvas, digital spaces, and mixed media, the series breaks the boundaries of a single surface—much like the self resists confinement. Each medium carries its own language, yet together they map the shifting landscapes of memory, desire, and transformation. Vices II is not just an evolution of form, but an evolution of being.
